No Sacrifice.
To you I give my life, not just the parts I want to To you I sacrifice these dreams that I hold on to Your thoughts are higher than mine Your words are deeper than mine Your love is stronger than mine This is no sacrifice Here’s my life …To you I give my future As long as it may last To you I give my present To you I give my past Because Your thoughts are higher than...

Things I Love:
1. The way gingerbread smells when it’s baking. 2. Walking with running arms. 3. Chocolate Chip Cookies. (Even when a certain husband forgets to add the last quarter cup of flour. Still delicious!) 4. Colder weather. 5. Chicken Pot Pie. 6. Christmas music.

Vacation and Stuff.
So today (actually, yesterday, at approximately 4 P.M.) marks the beginning of my week off. The bakery where I work is going to be closed for a week of rest and preparation for its second birthday! I’ve been thinking carefully of how I want to spend my time off. I’m not taking an actual vacation, because Ty has to work. But I’m okay with this, because all I really want is to...

Happy 4th!
Celebrating with a chili cheese coney and a cherry coke! Things to Celebrate: 1. Living in a free country, where I can believe what I want and live the way I want. 2. Getting work done early so I have the rest of the day with my husband. 3. Pay day! 4. Family, friends, good music. 5. Casting all my cares upon Him, because He actually cares about me, despite all my short comings and all of my...

Three-ish Day Weekend.
Today, Ty and I went shopping. It was really exciting to buy new things! Ty got some new shirts; I got a pair of sandals (much needed, the only sandals I had before were wedges, and Ty hates them because they make us the same height. It almost takes the fun out of wearing them because I have to listen to him complain), a pair of flats (as if I needed another pair, but my other all-purpose flats...

The Day That Got 100x Better.
So I was looking at old posts on here and found this one. The post after that was the post about getting engaged. That day got a lot better really fast.

Details.
So the news is, I’ve been virtually internet-less for three weeks due to moving and our internet carrier being a big, corporate bone-head. At any rate, I’m back now, and maybe will start actually blogging* again. *blogging: posts of substance; not just random crap.

For something new for summertime, I bought a tube of potentially-obnoxious red lipstick to give a dose of glamorous sass to my makeup style. I’m not sure if it makes me look glamorous or sassy, but it does leave a wonderful, stereotypical, and almost cartoon-y red lipstick mark on the side of my husband’s cheek.

Vote No on Smoking Ban.
Today my city is holding a vote to banish smoking in all public areas, all in the name of “protecting people’s right to breathe clean air”. I’d like to point out that it’s at the cost of business owners’ rights to decide what they want for their business. Employees have a choice as to whether or not they want to work at a smoking establishment; many, many places...
